A pioneering centre for the arts, we’re a place where everyone can experience contemporary exhibitions, events and entertainment in an iconic Modernist building on England’s south coast. We present and produce a diverse programme of exhibitions, live music and comedy, talks, tours, participatory workshops and online events, for as wide an audience as possible.

Our friendly and diverse team of volunteers supports us across many roles on the practical side of our programme. You might find yourself helping behind the scenes, assisting our artists and performers, running workshops, stewarding our events, or guiding visitors on a tour of our iconic building. It’s an opportunity to make new friends and gain valuable experience in a vibrant, creative and community-focused arts and cultural organisation.
